I like the very classic Japanese look, with full tang and visible rivets. The blade is almost straight with a downwards curve at the tip, which makes certain tasks a little easier, particularly quickly chopping veggies, fish and meat. The handle, while not rounded, is incredibly smooth, so none of the edges dig into the palm. And the bolster is nicely curved to fit the middle finger underneath, with the thumb placed comfortably on the blade.

I found it aesthetically pleasing and extremely durable. The blade’s top has a good curve, allowing you to rest your middle finger on it comfortably. Chopping all manner of vegetables and meat was easy. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced santoku knife get Haarko.

This is the most widely recognized style of santoku knife. The blade’s edge is almost straight with a sharp, downwards curved tip, which is best if you prefer chopping quickly and efficiently with precise, upwards-downwards motion.

I was needing at least one good knife & based on the reviews this knife received, I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. It did not disappoint. This knife is super sharp & makes cutting & chopping a breeze.
The Haarko looks, feels and performs so well. I just love it and can’t imagine using anything else. I already have a Huusk and thought that was pretty exceptional but the Haarko may have the edge as it is easier to use.
I love your knives, they are lovely and sharp, I hand wash them, let them dry then put them back in the box they came in. I keep them on my kitchen counter where I prepare food, so they are always at hand...
These knives are very very sharp right out of the box, the balance and design are excellent... So far excellent, I'll update my review once an ample time of ownership and use are reached.
